Stevenage Guides are an enthusiastic crowd!

We are part of Girlguiding UK, the leading voluntary organisation for girls and young women in the UK.

Guiding is rewarding and fun – it is life changing!

Not only does guiding give girls and young women opportunities they would not find elsewhere but also hones those skills of team working, problem solving, project planning, communication and leadership that we multitasking women use in the home and are equally valued in the workplace.

In Stevenage at the last annual census there were 166 girls waiting to join Girlguiding. The more leaders and volunteers we have the more can join in the fun as well.

There are plenty of ways to be involved.

• Leadership qualification.
  

• Sharing specialist skills. Pass on your enthusiasm for a hobby or pass-time.
  

• Badge Tester
  

• Fundraising. Administrator, New ideas, Gift Aid organiser.
  

• Unit Helper.
  

• Parents rota.
