Happy 60th Birthday Stevenage North Trefoil Guild:
The oldest Guild in Hertfordshire!
The annual Hertfordshire Trefoil Guilds Fellowship Service was held at Holy Trinity in the Old Town of Stevenage on 19th October 2008 to coincide with the 60th Birthday of the Stevenage North Trefoil Guild. The service was well attended by 160 to 200 guests including the Mayor and Mayoress of Stevenage and the Lord Leftenant of Hertfordshire, Paul Brenham. The Birthday cake was cut by the longest serving member of the Guild. Local Guiders and Guides helped with the catering for the event (possibly the largest Trefoil Guild event held in Hertfordshire). Everybody enjoyed the afternoon celebrations. The Trefoil Guild would also like to remind everybody that they are always open for new members.

Tall Ships Adventure
Girlguiding UK, in partnership with the Jubilee Sailing Trust entered the world’s first all-female crew in a Class A vessel the 2008 Tall Ships Race. Abi Bubb was selected to be a member of the crew on board the Lord Nelson ship from Liverpool to Norway. It was a trip of a lifetime and an amazing experience. Here are just some of the fun and magical moments we shared whilst onboard.
