  • Pin Green District News August 2011

    Within the district there have been Rainbow sleepovers and Brownie Pack Holidays over the last term, mainly at Cottered Guide Centre, but why not, it's such a great place!!

    Guides and Senior Section are off to Big Gig in October as they got 40 tickets for the district!

    Pin Green are organising a District Seaside trip to Clacton-on-Sea in September, many units are attending, with over 100 members going on the coaches to enjoy sandcastle competitions, sing-a-long songs on the coach, beach games, pier attractions and of course an ice cream!

  • On 28th March 1st Pin Green Rainbows and Brownies completed their Royal Wedding Challenge badge by holding their very own Monkey Wedding. The Rev. Paul Seymour conducted a traditional wedding ceremony at All Saint's, The Oval in Stevenage where he "married" Bride Muvpa and Groom Pickles...
  • Pin Green District News February 2011
    The Christmas carol Service was a nice district event with music and lots of involvement from all sections (Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Senior Section). Thinking Day was celebrated on Saturday 19th February with all sections will learning about the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS) that will encourage girls to develop self-esteem, learn how to change the world together, to live in a fairer world and to be decision makers. An Easter church service, similar to the Carol Service at Christmas is being planned.

  • On 13th March Rainbows, Brownies and Guides from the Pin Green District travelled to London for the day to visit the centenary maze at Crystal Palace. The maze has been built especially to celebrate the centenary year of Girlguiding...
