- South District News February 2011The Guides have been doing backward cooking! Guides have also been working on their Go for it chocolate and on a visit to the new 35th Stevenage guides they were having fun trying to work out a chocolate quiz.
The Brownies have been working on a wide selection on badges from artist to 'finding your way' and the Rainbow units have been working on safety and have been visited by Stevenage police department, fire brigade and lolly pop ladies, the Rainbows found the 'Right to be happy' badge rainbows found fun.
The Thinking day event was on the 20th February in St Peters church, it was a closed service to the public but all Girlguiding members were welcome.
The South district will be holding an all section district camp going from rainbows overnight through brownies pack holiday and guides camp all in the same week end, three leaders will be doing their licences on that weekend.
With Easter fast approaching units in south are going to be doing an Easter bonnet competition!
