In October Shirley organised a craft evening where we made spirella circles and mounted them on greetings cards. November was our
year end meal where members of the Stevenage Trefoil group and Guiders from Knebworth district joined us for an enjoyable evening.
Febuary 2009 a lady from the local beauty clinic advised us on how to care for our nails and a few volunteers had there nails treated
and painted.
The Trefoil Guild also joined in the following county events at the end of 2008:
- Fellowship service at Holy Trinity Church, Stevenage old town on 19 October 2008
- County crafts at Woolmer Green village hall on 8 November 2008
Trefoil members continue to support the rota for staffing at the Stevenage Guide Shop.
Further events include:
- Woody’s whittling – wood carving
- Woodland Trust talk – to include the new reserve at Sandridge, St Albans
- Recycling in miniature – making dolls house furniture
- Day trip to Cromer windmill and Much Hadham forge
- Presentation of trip to Iceland in 2008
- Presentation of trip to Belgium with Hertfordshire Guides in 2009
